Madge Naomi Jarrett was born September 2, 1895 In Tonganoxie, Kansas to John Wesley Jarrett Sr. and Mary Jane Nichols Jarrett who both preceded her In death.
She received her education In the public schools of Tonganoxie.
She was united with the First Baptist Church of Tonganoxie September 29, 194-6.
She lived in Kansas City, Missouri for a number of years and moved back to Tonganoxie in 1977.
Due to an accident on December 26, 1982 she entered the Lawrence Memorial Hospltsl. Later she was a patient at the Samaritan Lodge Nursing Home of Lawrence and re-entered the Memorial Hospital there where she demised on May 2, 1983.
Her survlvers are three Sisters,. Mrs. Effa A. Jackson, Mrs. J-ean Marie Nelson, and Miss. Ann Jarrett,. all of the home; two brothers, Charles C. Jarrett of the home and John Wesley Jarrett, Tonganoxie, Kansas; three sister-in laws,. Mrs. Edith J-arrett,. Kansas City, Mrs. Marie J-arrett, and Mrs. Gladys Jarrett, Tonganoxie, and a host of nieces, nephews,, great nieces, nephews and friends.
