Grace Beatrice McFadden was born March 8, 1988, in Tonganoxie, Kansas, to the late Richard and Laura James.

She departed this life Tuesday, October 5, 1982.

Grace was next to the youngest of eight children. All have preceded her in death.

She attended Public Schools in Tonga-noxie, Kansas, and confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined the First Baptist Church in Tonganoxie.

Early in life she learned music and dra-ma, and engaged in a musical and dramatic career. She did much traveling during her ca-reer.

She was married to the late Lansing Mc-Fadden, and came to live in Kansas City, Kansas, uniting with the King Solomon Bap-tist Church.

There were no children born to this uni-on, but they reared her brother's child, Henry J. James, Jr., also his children, Anthony, Adrian James, and Mrs. Antrena Williams.

Grace was very devoted to her church, and contributed much to the services, serving in any capacity when asked.

During her later years she served as the musician for the Alice Bailey Funeral Home.
